Primitive Grungy Snowman Ornies/Bowl Filler

Welcome to my auction! You will be buying 4 of my primitive grungy snowmen/snowman ornie/bowl fillers. I have sewn them out of Warm & Natural Batting that has been lightly stained and baked using my special mixture of coffee, cinnamon and vanilla.

You will receive 2 that are square measuring approx. 3 ¼ x 3 ¼ inches and 2 in the shape of a triangle measuring approx. 3 ¾ x 3 ½ inches.
They have button eyes, an orange felt carrot shaped nose and black embroidery floss eyebrows and smile. I have also taken a piece of embroidery floss and did a blanket stitch around the snowmen ending with a loop on top for hanging. I gave them a light dusting of German glass glitter to make them sparkle.

They would look so cute attached to a prim gift or scattered among your other prim Christmas decorations! Please keep in mind that these are for decoration only and not for little ones to play with.

She is another dolly I made from a Back Porch Pickins pattern. She measure 22 inches tall to the top of her hat and dressed in her wynter's best! Such a pretty little Christmas dolly - perfect for anyone who collects snowmen...
She is sewn from painted and stained muslin. Her eyes are painted with separate eyelids stitched on. Her mouth is heavy wire I have shaped into a folky smile and it is very discreetly stitched on. Her cheeks are blushed slightly and I've used artists pencil to shade her sweet face a bit for depth....

She wears a black felt tophat and it has been generously dusted with ultrafine silver glitter. Around the brim I have stitched a very fine, delicate tinsel trim and a silver glittered snowflake. It looks blue in the pics because it is reflecting the blue sky when I took the pics outdoors, it truly is sparkly silver in color. Her hat is only pinned in place with two decorative pins and I will remove it for safe shipping.

Her arms are wired and pose nicely. She holds a few her snowballs in the crook of one arm. The little snowballs are each about 1 3/4 inches in diameter. I made her a wool stocking and pinned it to her bodice. I embellished it with some stitched tinsel trim and a jingle bell which has been encrusted with silver glass glitter as well.
Her dress is a beautiful light blue and cream tonal cotton print with snowflakes. I have handstitched some of the fine silver tinsel trim to the sleeves and hem, with a silver ric~rac across the bottom front of the bodice. Her dress collar is aged white wool felt stitched around the neckline with a few clear crystal embellishments. Her pantalets are antiqued eyelet material with a pretty scalloped edge . All the glass glitter sparklies and such is so hard to capture in the pics- she is just so much prettier in person!

Her slippers are real silver german glass glitter and sparkle so pretty!
Her snowballs have been rolled twice in clear glass glitter. There will be four snowballs included in the auction, though I only show her holding three. You can display them in her arms or in a little prim bowl just as fillers....the little bowl in the pics is not included.

All my handmades come to you signed and dated by me....

**All my dollies are "pretties" for adult decoration only and not intended to be used for a childrens toy......**

Today I have up for auction the neatest vintage enamelware pot. I have handpainted it with a snowman design by Renee Mullins. The little snowlady has a red coat and a blue scarf. She is just adorable! The pot is originally blue, it measures 7" across not including the handles, and is 4 1/2" tall.

The inside is a light blue speckled color and does have some light looks perfectly tea dyed to me! There are a few dings which I love! This is one of a kind and comes signed and dated.

baked. Their beanies are made from some of my sons old socks ( I love to recycle) that I have stained, baked and brushed a deep red.

They have been sewn to the heads. Their eyes and mouth are stitched on with a black crochet thread and their
nose is a twig that I've sen on. Their cheeks have been brushed with the same color as their beanies. Each snowman's

I just love this prim boot! It was so much fun to make and turned out so great! The 30 inch boot is made of muslin and painted black, sanded and primmed. It has a grungy cheesecloth band sewn on the top and dirty burlap bands down the front with two rusty bells handsewn on each band.

There is a long piece of rusty wire wrapped around the toe with rusty bells and a rusty safety pin on the front. There are two holes torn in the front of the stocking and stuffed with dried moss for that spooky old look.

The boot is heavily primmed and loaded with lots of cinnamon.
In the top of the boot is a pesky old black muslin crow with a needle sculpted beak that is painted gold and two cute little prim pumpkins that were made of muslin, painted orange, sanded and primmed.
I added stems made from tiny sticks from my yard, dried moss and curled wire tendrils. I also added lots of dried sweet annie and dried moss to the top of the stocking as well.
This great prim is from a pattern by The Old Glory Company.

Primitive Christmas Snowman Doll Wreath w/Bells

Hi there, thank you for taking a minute to stop by!! I am excited to tell you about my latest prim!!! If you are looking for
a special handmade item, to start the holiday season off, make sure you grab this wreath up!!
I started off witha gorgeous evergreen wreath and added in one of my grubby little snowman dolls. I stitched this
charming olde fellow from aged warm and natural quilt batting. I hand embroidered his face and wait until you see his long carrot nose and rosy cheeks!!

I used a black wool felt for his "folky" top hat and trimmed it with cranberries, preserved sweet annie, and tiny pinecones.
This doll is all dressed up in his Christmas finest. I used a deep "Santa suit" red wool for his top and
stitched him a long neckscarf from aged red and white ticking. I tied it off with large cranberries, preserved sweet annie, mini pinecones, and red pip berries.

I taked a faux wool down the front of his top and fished it off with a large rusty
bell and snowflake.
I dusted this fellow with plenty vintage German glass glitter, so he looks like he is covered in sparkly Winter morning ice.
I adde lots and lots of neat Winter thymen goodies to this wreath including several large rusty Christmas bells, berries, candy
canes , lots of peppermint candy, and small rusty Christmas stars.
This piece measures about 22 inches around. I have also included a stained scented tag that I stamped "Winter Thyme 1885"
Don't let this "One of a KInd" Christmas Wreath get away!! If you love handmade prims, this one is sure to add charm
and warmth to your "olde thyme" Holiday season.
Thanks again and May God Bless!!
