Primitive Door Greeter Cardinals Star Fillers

Thanks for dropping by today! I just love how this sweet little door greeter turned out. I have taken some grapevine garland and made a 9-inch wreath. I’ve added to the middle of the wreath one of my primitive stars. It is made from a cutter quilt, stained with a coffee, spice and vanilla mix and baked to reveal a nice aged quality. I have sewn on a rusty bell in the middle of the star. The wreath is decorated with sweet annie and burgundy pip berries as well as a little Spanish moss. I’ve also added two of my cardinals, made from unbleached muslin, painted a deep red, baked and stained with the same prim mix. Their beaks are painted yellow and their eyes are stitched on. At the top of the wreath I’ve attached a bow made from stained cheese cloth. The entire piece measures approximately 11 inches wide by 11 inches tall. This door greeter turned out so nice and would look great in your prim home or among your Americana décor.

Primitive Patriotic Americana Heart Door Greeter

Thanks for dropping by today! I’ve taken a patriotic cutter quilt and created this heart hanging. The backside is unbleached muslin. The heart is stuffed nicely with fiberfill and then put through my staining process and baked to reveal a nice aged quality.
I’ve attached a grapevine hanger to the top and wrapped some rusty star garland around it. Attached to the front of this heart is a little bouquet of green sweet annie and burgundy and vanilla pip berries.


These are tied with a strip of cheesecloth tied into a sweet little bow and all attached by rusty safety pins. I’ve pinned on a rusty bell with a rusty safety. And to finish it off I’ve pinned on a prim tag that reads “America”. This entire piece measures approximately 8 inches wide by 15 inches tall. This door greeter turned out so nice and would look great in your prim home or among your Americana décor.

Primitive Grungy Pantry Box Patriotic 4th of July

This is for a fabulous one of a kidn (OOAK) Primitive Patriotic Paper Mache Box with Handle. This great box has been put through my three step process to get that wonderful grungy antiqued finish.

It measures 17" tall to top of handle, 8" wide
and 4 1/4" deep. It features a vintage 4th of July postcard on the front that measures approximately 4" x 6".
This box is filled with paper mache goodies,


two prim start red & blue (4 1/2"), and 3 prim firecrackers red, blue, and red & white striped (4 1/2" tall). Also iclude is a vintage 4th of July novelty flag. These items are nestled on some dried floral grass.

PRIMITIVE CLOTH ~RAGGEDY ANN~ DOLL RABBIT

This auction is for a tea dyed country prim Annie doll and her rabbit. Annie is 16" tall weighted to sit .

Her dress is pink background with teeny white hearts at the top and a pink button in the center . Her skirt is various colors in a garden theme.

Annie's bloomers are muslin..her shoes are painted black with laces. Annie comes with a cute "Annie" hang tag. Her prim face is painted ..her hair is pink nubby yarn fashioned into pony tails on each side of her head.

Her rabbit is gray felt with black bead eyes and a pink stitched nose. His pink ribbon matches Annie's bodice.

three cheers for the state fair balloon! okay, this was challenging, but i did it!! special thanks to prim and proper folks....the description is: including the wire, the piece measures over 36 inches...

the balloon is made of fabric with stickers and glitter and state fair banner...the basket is a small octagon shaped hard cardstock box, that i primly painted...

lady liberty and uncle sam are stump dolls that can be removed from the balloon for display...sam has a new little american flag..

the faces were needle sculpted, the hair was needle felted...they were also painted and stained, as was their clothing...

Primitive Spoon Ornie *Staltbox* Sheep* Flag


Here is a vintage silverplated round spoon that I have painted a primitive scene on.
I have painted the background an antiques white with shade of brown along the edges.

I added a saltbox, primitive sheep, a fence, a moon and a flag.
I have wrapped it with rusty wire and added a rusty bell too.

There is a loop on the top to hang this by with a piece of homespun tied onto it.
This spoon measures about 8 1/4 inches including the wire to hang it by.

Primitive Crow Watermelon Door Hanger/Greeter


Here is a Primitive Summer Tme theme door hanger that I have made.
I made a watermelon, a crow and sunflowers from muslin and I handpainted each one.
I then stained and baked them to give that prim look.
There are three sunflowers and a crow on a watermelon. I added som spainish moss along the top.
I tied on a piece of homespun and stained cheesecloth with rusty bell.

There is a piece of rusty wire to hang this by.
I also painted a tag in AMericana style and aged it. This is attached with rusty safety pin.
The crow has a piece of stained cheesecloth and a rusty bell on his neck. He has floss for eyes.
This piece measures about 12 inches wide at the widest point and the crow measures about 9 1/2 inches tall.

PRIMITIVE PATRIOTIC KITTY CAT FOLK ART DOLL

This is a very large Cat. I used a pattern by Back Porch Pickins, with many of my own touches. She is 31" tall.

The body is osnaburg that I painted, sanded and stained. She has the popular round head and eyelids. The face and paws are needle sculpted. I sewed black thread for her whiskers.

Her dress is sewn from a wavy flag print. The loons are muslin. The clothing has been stained.

Miss Liberty needed a torch, so I sewed and stuffed three muslin stars. They were painted, sanded, stained and glittered. I added rusty wire to each, and attached it to an old wood bobbin. I love how it turned out. There is a wire hanger on her back. She looks great sitting or hanging. Thanks to Di's hang tag patch for her great smelling tag.
