Primitive Snowman Make Do Christmas Doll
Snowmen are my absolute favorite thing to make. I made this one from heavily stained Osnaburg fabric. His scarf is a piece
from an old quilt. The tiny red pocket is handsewn on, and hold tiny candy canes and greenery. I made his tip hat
from muslin, then painted, sanded and stained it. The paper tag reads, candy canes. His eyes are little black snaps, and his mouth is cross stitched.
Rosey dry brushed cheeks and a little HC carrot nose finish the face.
Frosty is mounted on a old wood bobbin.
The finished piece measures 21" tall, from the bobbin bottom to the top of his hat.
Thanks to Homepun Hugs and Calico Stitches for the wonderful Pattern Design.
