PRIM EAGLE DOOR HANGER WITH SHIELD AND BANNER



This great prim Americana eagle door hanger is 16 inches wide and 13 inches high. It is made of muslin and painted, sanded and stained with staining mixture. The eagle's wings have hand painted feathers with the tips dry brushed with white.

The shield is painted red, white and blue and sanded and then stained with staining mixture and sanded again. There are 5 hand painted stars across the top of the shield and a rusty bell sewn on the bottom.

The "Liberty" banner is made of stained osnaburg and hand embroidered. It is attached to the shield with two rusty bells. The eagle's eye and beak are handpainted and there is a rusty wire on the back for hanging.
