PRIMITIVE HANDMADE SANTA DOOR HANGER WITH MOUSE

This prim Santa door hanger is 18 inches tall. Santa is made of muslin and painted, sanded and coated with staining mixture. His eyes are handpainted, his nose is needle sculpted and his lips are embroidered. His beard, eyebrows and hair are sheep's wool that has been needlefelted on. Santa's hat has grungy warm and natural trim and a rusty bell on the tip attached with a rusty safety pin. His mittens are painted black and he has warm and natural trim around his sleeves and down the front of his suit.

His pouch is filled with artificial greens, red berries and pinecones. Tucked in among the greens is the sweetest little mouse made of flannel and painted.

He has tiny bead eyes, floss whiskers and a grungy homespun scarf around his neck.
I added three large rusty bells to the bottom of the Santa and there is a rusty wire hanger on the back.
This great pattern is by Gloria Lowell.
I am always happy to combine shipping.
