Primitive Halloween Penny Rug Candle Mat
I just finished this Trick Or Treat/Candy Corn Penny Rug just in time for Halloween. It would look beautiful on any table top to welcome the Halloween season into your home.
This handmade penny rug is made with wool that has been felted—no craft felt here! Around the outside are candy corn in white, orange and yellow on top of black tongues (there are 12 in all). The background of this penny rug is also black. The words, “TRICK OR TREAT” are spelled out in green, orange, red, white, yellow and tan wool. This penny rug measures approximately 14 inches across.
I am the designer and it is an original piece made with care in my smoke-free home.
