This adorable valance was made specifically for a 9 lite entry door.
It falls to cover the top 3 window panes
...leaving the 6 bottom panes unobstructed for security.
My back door looked so plain without any window treatment
...but I hated moving a curtain out of the way to look outside. This valance works perfectly.
It measures 43" across x 11" below the 1 1/2" rod pocket.
The valance also features a 1 3/4" ruffle above the rod.
Navy & Berry plaid homespun is accented with a 3" strip of tea-stained muslin featuring
4 Americana Hearts that I have hand-drawn and then hand-painted.
Each heart measures approximately 2 1/2".
I have spattered the design for that wonderful primitive look.
This charming valance will be a wonderful addition to your primitive home.
