Primitive Folk Art Ornies BEAUTIFUL Sun STARS

Beautiful and very prim set of 3 ornies/tucks. I made these to portray very vital
and beautiful elements. A sun, 4"x6". Separate face stitched on, with hand painted
features.

Prim dull yellow spikes surround this darling. Next is a 7"x7" star, also
primmed and with a hand painted face. Navy blue little doo dads in each star corner.

Finally, a navy blue prim painted 7"x7" star with a separate muslin heart stitched
on.

The word "Peace" embroidred in black floss. All are made of muslin. They are
very different, and to me, mean the light of love, and the peace of night. hope you
do like them as well! All filled with new poly fil and signed by me as well. Sprinkled with German glass glitter for a magical effect.
Vanilla/cinnamon scented.

PRIMITIVE CLOTH RAGGEDY ANN DOLL LIL' KITTY

Raggedy Ann is a chubby little gal! She is tea dyed and is 16" tall . Her dress is pink with red cherries.

Her collar is ruffled . Her bloomers are pink with red cherries. Her legs have painted stripes ..her shoes are painted black with laces. Annie's sweet prim face is stitched her eyes are buttons.

Her hair is wool piggy tails pulled up on each side with bows. Her little kitten is 7" tall made from muslin , painted face , rusty bell around her neck and a little dress matching Annie's.

Americana Star Nodder/Make-Do/Pin Keep.


Welcome to my auction!
Up for auction I have this wonderful Americana Star Nodder/Make-Do/Pin Keep.
It is approx. 9 3/4 inches tall x 8 1/4 inches wide. I have attached it to a rusty bedspring.

The star is made fro red ticking. I attached a strip of dark navy blue with small stars material using big primitive stitches to the front of the star.

I then, using the same manner for the navy rectangle, layered a muslin
strip in which the letters U.S.A. are embroidered in black floss on top of the strip of navy material.
It has been stained, baked and rubbed with a little of my special spice mixture. There is also a rusty safety pin attached to the
front of the star.

I have also included on of my grubby hang tags ( 4 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches) with a nice patriotic
picture of some fire crackers, a drum and trumpet. This Nodder will be a delightful addition to an Americana or Patriotic
collection. It can stand alone or be tucked in among your other primitives. The idea's are endless.

PRIM EAGLE DOOR HANGER WITH SHIELD AND BANNER

This great prim Americana eagle door hanger is 16 inches wide and 13 inches high. It is made of muslin and painted, sanded and stained with staining mixture. The eagle's wings have hand painted feathers with the tips dry brushed with white.

The shield is painted red, white and blue and sanded and then stained with staining mixture and sanded again. There are 5 hand painted stars across the top of the shield and a rusty bell sewn on the bottom.

The "Liberty" banner is made of stained osnaburg and hand embroidered. It is attached to the shield with two rusty bells. The eagle's eye and beak are handpainted and there is a rusty wire on the back for hanging.
This great Americana item is from a pattern by Rock River Stitches.

Primitive Folk Art Raggedy Doll Mother Stitchery


Well, I did manage to make a Mother's Day dolly, though I nearly ran out of time! LOL! This will be a shorter auction so you can still get her in time for Mothers Day.

Annie measures 23" head to toes and made from stained muslin. She wears a burgundy, navy and tan plaid homespun dress with a drop waist and little gathered sleeves. The bloomers are a neat tonal mustard Honey & Me cotton print with prim stars and little curly Q's.

Her collar is aged muslin with primitive stitchin' around the edge. All the hems on her dress and bloomers have a nice finished edge and all clothing has been stained. Her face is primly hand stitched on and her hair is barn red wavy wool yarn stitched into pigtails with a ragbow on each side.

I gave her head a slight tilt to give her a sweet look. Her arms are string jointed, so they will move up and down. Her leggings and mary jane shoes are painted on in prim fashion, then sanded and stained. Her feet have a more 3-dimensional look to them. I gave her a boxed bottom and weighted it gently so she will sit nicely. I also gave her a sturdy loop in her back if you prefer to hang her for display instead. She will come to you signed and dated by me.

The stitchery I wanted to resemble a miniature wall hanging quilt. It measures 9" tall and a little over 8" wide. It reads "Mother. . . . A person hand chosen by God that shows unending love and compassion to the miracle He blessed you with that lasts a lifetime". The border around the stitchery is matching homespun and the "quilt" backing is a different coordinating navy, burgundy and tan cotton homespun. I did some hand stitching on both sides of the seam all the way around. It has been stained for an aged look. I am also including the wire heart hanger to go with it. The quilt has heavy cotton thread loops in the back that tie to the hanger for display and can be removable if you wish. The hanger measures 7 1/2 " tall and 7 1/4" wide.
Annie was made using a Sweetmeadowsfarm pattern and the stitchery was made using a pattern from Twigs-n-Sprigs.
My dollies are "pretties" for adult decoration only and not intended to be a children's toy.

WELCOME PRIM FRIENDS TO MY AUCTION FOR THIS SWEET CHIC AND SHABBY PRIM DOLL. i NAMNED HER ~~~~ ROSIE~~~~. SHE IS VERY PRECIOUS. SHE IS 17 INCHES TALL AND MADE WOTH PLENTY OF TLC. SHE IS MADE OF FINE MUSLIN THAT HAS BEEN TEA DYED. ONLY THE BEST STUFFING WAS USED FOR HER BODY AND THE BOTTOM IS FILLED WITH HALF A CUP OF PLASTIC PELLETS SO SHE WILL SIT BETTER.

LETS START WITH HER HAIR, WHICH IS 100% PINK WOOL THAT I HANDSTITCHED ONTO HER HEAD. I ALSO ADDED A BOW ON EACH SIDE OF HER PIGTAILS THAT MATCHES HER DRESS. HER FACE IS ALL EMBROIDERED EXCEPT FOR HER EYES, THEY ARE BLACK MATTE BUTTONS THAT I HANDSTITCHED ON. I DRY BRUSHED HER CHEEKS WITH PAINT IN GYPSY ROSE.

HER DRESS IS A FINE MATERIAL IN A PINK FLORAL PATTERN WITH TINY RHINESTONES ALL OVER IT. JUST PERFECT FOR THAT CHIC LOOK. I USED THE SAME MATERIAL FOR HER LOONS. I GATHERED THEM AT THE WAIST AND SECURED THEM AND ADDED A BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE. THE DRESS IS GATHERED AT THE NECKLINE AND I ADDED A PINK BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE AND SECURED IT WITH PINK FLOSS.I THEN TIED A PIECE OF SATIN RIBBON AROUND HER WAIST.

HER LEGS HAVE PAINTED PINK STRIPED SOCKS AND I SANDED THEM LIGHTLY TO SMOOTH THEM OUT AND AGE THEM.

THE BACK OF THE DOLL IS SIGNED DATED AND NUMBERED BY ME AS I HAVE SHOWED YOU IN THE PICTURE. I THEN ADDED A PRIM LITTLE SHABBY TAG. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT MOTHER'S DAY GIFT OR A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION OF RAGGEDY DOLLS.

PRIM BLESSINGS AND WELCOME TO MY AUCTION FOR THIS SWEET RAGGEDY ANN MOTIF DRESS FOR DECOR. IT IS 23 INCHES LONG . THE HANGER IS MADE FROM A HAND CUT TWIG AND WIRE. I ATTACHED A PIECE OF MATERIAL THAT MATCHES THE BODICE TO THE HANGER'S NECK.

THE BODICE IS MADE OF SPECIALTY RAGGEDY ANN FABRIC. I HANDSTITCHED LACE AROUND THE SQUARE SHAPED COLLAR AND STIFFENED IT. I ADDED SUSPENDERS TO MATCH THE SKIRT. THE BODICE CENTER HAS 3 MINI ROUND RED BUTTONS THAT I SECURED ON BY HAND.
THE SKIRT IS GATHERED . THE MATERIAL IS A BLUE CHECK MATERIAL. THIS IS AN ADORABLE DRESS FOR YOUR DAUGHTER'S ROOM OR TO ADD TO YOUR RAGGEDY ANN COLLECTION OF DOLLS.
I HANDMADE A RAGGEDY HEAD, TEA STAINED IT AND HAND EMBROIDERED THE EYEBROWS, NOSE AND MOUTH. THE EYES ARE PAINTED ON. THE CHEEKS ARE DRY BRUSHED OPN WITH BURGUNDY AMERICANA PAINT. THE HAIR IS 100% WOOL YARN IN RED. I TIED A RIPPED PIECE OF MATERIAL ON EACH SIDE OF HER PIGTAILS TO MATCH THE DRESS. SHE IS SECURED ON WITH A SAFETY PIN.
THE HANG TAG IS VERY PRIM WITH A PICTURE OF A LITTLE GIRL AND HER DOLL. THEN BACK OF THE TAG IS SIGNED, DATED AND NUMBERED.
