PRIMITIVE HALLOWEEN CROW AND MOON DOOR HANGER

The crow is made of muslin that was painted black and sanded. It has a separate quilted wing that was handstitched on. The crow's beak is needlesculpted and her eye is an embroidery floss knot.

She is wearing a dirty, grungy witch hat with a primmed cheesecloth hatband that is tied in a knot. The crow is 26 inches long from the tip of it's hat to the end of her broom. The broom is made from a stick from my yard and drieds from one of my ornamental grasses. I also added a bunch of dried sweet annie and orange berries that are also tucked under her wing.


There is a rusty wire on the back for hanging. She is sprinkled with lots of cinnamon for that yummy smell.

The moon is 12 inches tall and is made of muslin that is painted with gold and brown paint mixed with staining mixture and sanded. I added lots of cinnamon to the moon as well. There is also a rusty wire on the back for hanging.
This great Halloween crow and moon prim is from a pattern by Tennessee Ridge Primitives and makes a great holiday display piece.

PRIMITIVE RAGGEDY SCARECROW ANNIE


What a cutie! Here is Raggedy Scarecrow Annie all set for the Fall Harvest! I just love the way she turned out and you will too!
She is my original design and completely handmade by me!

Annie is approximately 16 Inches tall, and I've made her of tea dyed cotton. I've weighted Annie so she sits nicely. I've hand painted her face to look like a scarecrow; hand sewn her Raffia Straw Hair. I've made her dress of blue denim and a plaid homespun for her shirt. Her 'loons are made from rust colored cotton and coordinate with her plaid shirt. I've hand painted her brown boots and orange leg stripes.

I've made her a Scarecrow's hat out of a brown suede like fabric and given it a hat band that matches her shirt. She has a little Crow friend that likes to accompany her. My pictures really do not do her justice! She is much cuter in person!

She wears a primitive "Harvest Blessings" tag. Included with Scarecrow Annie and her little Crow are 3 handmade pumpkins and a 12" x 6" x 6" straw bale.
She would be a welcome addition for the Prim Doll collector, or as your latest Harvest Decoration.

Primitive blue-eyed Raggedy

This 13" bundle of sweetness is made from premium coffee dyed muslin and is dressed in a cute plisse red dotted bodice with red poppy skirt.
She has painted sock stripes and shoes. I used prismatics for her eyes and shading, stitching and painting and then sealed.

Hanna has a round metal edged tag pinned with her name and a grungy hang tag that says "Little Miss Happy". I have needlefelted black wool roving to her head and signed and dated her as well.
Hanna was made from a pattern by "Bowls-n-Annies". Thanks for looking!

THE TRICK OR TREAT BUCKET WAS PAINTED BLACK WITH WHITE LETTERING AND DOTS. THE INSIDE IS FILLED WITH MOSS. I HAVE ADDED A BIT OF AGED CHEESECLOTH TO THE HANDLE. INSIDE THE BUCKET ARE FOUR HANDSCULPTED CANDY CORNS.
I SPENT ALOT OF TIME ON THIS SET GETTING IT JUST PERFECTLY PRIM. HOPE YOU LIKE IT!
