PRIMITIVE ~ CLOTH RAGGEDY ANN DOLL ~GINGEREAD


This auction is for a handmade tea dyed primitive Raggedy Ann doll and a handmade gingerbread.
Annie is 17" tall weighted to sit . Her dress is beige at the top with two brown buttons sewn down the front.

Her sweet prim face is painted.. her hair is deep burgundy yarn sewn onto the seam of her head with two pig tails. Homespun burgundy plaid bows are tied onto each braid. I pinned a gingerbread hang tag onto her skirt.

The gingerbread is 8" tall handmade from brown felt. He has bead eyes and a big homespun burgundy plaid bow around his neck..

Prim Raggedy Ann

Long legged Patriotic Annie
Patriotic Annie is a long 23" and is make to sit or hang. Her body is coffee/vanilla dyed muslin with a stitched and painted face and sock stripes. She has light brown wool needlefelted hair in pig tails and a prim metal "Liberty" sign in her hand and 3 rusty bells on her bodice.

I have dressed her in a thick red and blue homespun dress skirt and a prim crow/star bodice. Annie has a gorgeous altered art tag purchased right here on ebay pinned to her skirt.
Annie was made from a pattern by
Sunnyknoll folk art and crafts.

Primitive Pineapple Hearts Stitichery Candle Mat


Here is a Primitive themed stitchery candle mat I have made. This is my own design.
I have handstitched pineapples, hearts,stars and X' s.
I then stained it with coffee, tea and cinnamon and baked it to give it that nice grungy look.

On the back I used green and cream checked homespun.
This candle mat measures about 5 3/4 inches and is for the use of votive sized candles or under somthing else you have.
This would be a fun addition to a Primitive home!

Primitive Annie Doll folk art ADORABLE


Primitive and very sweet 19" high Annie dolly. shes a pattern i made from RaggBag
Baby's. Annie is muslin that was prim stained to look nice and aged. her hair is
Annie red yarn that has been put in pigtails with little rag ties. Her face is very
cute, with little black button eyes, painted nose and embroidered mouth and eyebrows.
Her head is separately stitched on. Shes wearing a darling yellow printed floral
dress with yellow trim. Her loons are stained muslin. And she has painted annie
stripes in barn red on her legs. Shes very well made, and will be a beautiful
addition to a dolly collection. Shes filled with new poly fil, and is vanilla/cinnamon scented.

Primitive Door Greeter Cardinals Star Fillers

Thanks for dropping by today! I just love how this sweet little door greeter turned out. I have taken some grapevine garland and made a 9-inch wreath. I’ve added to the middle of the wreath one of my primitive stars. It is made from a cutter quilt, stained with a coffee, spice and vanilla mix and baked to reveal a nice aged quality. I have sewn on a rusty bell in the middle of the star. The wreath is decorated with sweet annie and burgundy pip berries as well as a little Spanish moss. I’ve also added two of my cardinals, made from unbleached muslin, painted a deep red, baked and stained with the same prim mix. Their beaks are painted yellow and their eyes are stitched on. At the top of the wreath I’ve attached a bow made from stained cheese cloth. The entire piece measures approximately 11 inches wide by 11 inches tall. This door greeter turned out so nice and would look great in your prim home or among your Americana décor.

Primitive Patriotic Americana Heart Door Greeter

Thanks for dropping by today! I’ve taken a patriotic cutter quilt and created this heart hanging. The backside is unbleached muslin. The heart is stuffed nicely with fiberfill and then put through my staining process and baked to reveal a nice aged quality.
I’ve attached a grapevine hanger to the top and wrapped some rusty star garland around it. Attached to the front of this heart is a little bouquet of green sweet annie and burgundy and vanilla pip berries.


These are tied with a strip of cheesecloth tied into a sweet little bow and all attached by rusty safety pins. I’ve pinned on a rusty bell with a rusty safety. And to finish it off I’ve pinned on a prim tag that reads “America”. This entire piece measures approximately 8 inches wide by 15 inches tall. This door greeter turned out so nice and would look great in your prim home or among your Americana décor.

Primitive Grungy Pantry Box Patriotic 4th of July

This is for a fabulous one of a kidn (OOAK) Primitive Patriotic Paper Mache Box with Handle. This great box has been put through my three step process to get that wonderful grungy antiqued finish.

It measures 17" tall to top of handle, 8" wide
and 4 1/4" deep. It features a vintage 4th of July postcard on the front that measures approximately 4" x 6".
This box is filled with paper mache goodies,


two prim start red & blue (4 1/2"), and 3 prim firecrackers red, blue, and red & white striped (4 1/2" tall). Also iclude is a vintage 4th of July novelty flag. These items are nestled on some dried floral grass.
